I was quite excited when I received my Shop It To Me Alerts today. I am being tempted. I did not spend all of the money that I took on my trip. I am planning on putting the money in the bank. Then I saw the email this morning and I was thinking maybe a new bag would be nice.

Jet Lag

I am back home from my vacation in London and Paris. I wish I were still on vacation. The only good thing about returning home from vacation is sleeping in my own bed. If I had a few more days, I could see more sights and do some major shopping. My body is here in Toronto, but my mind is six hours ahead.

I did not shop as much as I thought I would. There was no extra room in my suitcase or carry-on. I need to learn to travel light. I was on a mission in both cities to buy specific bags.

In London I wanted the green vinyl Harrods bag. That is all. It cost 17.95 (Pounds)

In Paris I wanted to get a Longchamp bag. I wanted it since the last time I was in Paris. I went to the department store Printemps the day before I left Paris. I bought the bag in pink. It is still wrapped up nicely in tissue. It cost (58.00 Euros)

It is the bag of choice for many women that I saw in Paris.

I will be leaving later on tonight. The bags are packed and I am ready to go. I will eat a little, drink a little, and enjoy the sites.

You may have noticed that I have changed the design of the blog again. I decided to change it after I packed my suitcase. It didn't take as long as I thought it would to pack. I was bored.

May 25th will be the one year anniversary of the blog. I started it on a whim. I will be away for the anniversary, so I would like to thank everyone for reading the blog and sending comments.

Hopefully I find a new bag or two on my trip.

One More Day

I leave tomorrow for my trip to London and Paris. Would someone like to pack for me? I hate packing!!!!!!

Maximum weight of luggage for airline: 50lbs (23kg)

The problem I am having is deciding what to carry as I am not sure what the weather will be like in both cities. I will throw clothes into the suitcase until it can't close. I have come close, but never over the allowable weight. Second thought, I have to leave room for purchases. Dilemma, Dilemma...

Carry-on Luggage

I know that I expect to do some shopping on my upcoming trip (one week away), so I wanted to take my carry-on luggage that has lots of space. It is the maximum size for carry-on luggage for Air Canada. However, it was not practical to take luggage and a carry-on that both have to be pulled.

I have decided to use my knapsack as my carry-on. I just hope I don't put my back out on the trip. I always take too much when I travel. Either my luggage or my carry-on are too heavy. I wish I could travel with one bag. That would make life so much simpler.

Spring Cleaning...In My Closet

It drives me crazy when I grab a bag from the top shelf in my closet and other bags fall off of the shelf. I think it is time to do some spring cleaning in my closet. Does it mean that I have too many bags? I don't think so.

For Spring/Summer I would like to get a bag with colour. All of the bags that I carry during the week are either brown or black. Boring. I used to have bags in many colours - red, blue, green, orange. I must have given them all away. For a while I have had my eye on this bag.
