Yesterday someone asked me if my eyelashes were fake. I have never been asked that question before, but the answer is no.
My trick to amazing looking eyelashes is because of two products that I have mentioned before in separate posts - Smashbox Layer Lash Primer and Lancome Hypnôse Drama Mascara.

Ganesha's Garden Botanical Body Scent
I used to be able to wear perfumes with strong scents, but now I like something that is light and subtle. For the longest time I only wore L'Occitane Eau de Vanilliers Eau de Toilette. It was discontinued a couple of years ago, so I don't wear it that often. I purchased the Harajuku Lovers fragrance G for the first time about a year and a half ago. This past week while I was wandering around Whole Foods and decided to purchase this solid perfume.
Ganesha's Garden Solid Perfume in Vanilla Bean in a soapstone box. It smells amazing and the box is small enough to keep in your purse.
Price at Whole Foods - $9.99

Where Did The Summer Go?
Stores are already having clearance sales. How is that possible? I have not done my summer shopping yet. I still have a closet full of black clothes. Not a good idea for the hot, sticky, humid weather we are having in Toronto. I guess it is a good thing that I am a procrastinator. Maybe I will get some good deals.
I received my August issue of Flare magazine and they are already talking about Fall trends. I did see a pair of Dr. Marten boots that are nice. Definitely not like the pair I had in university.

ç a r n c e by Chance Jackson
Chance Jackson is the creative director of ç a r n c e pronounced (sarnce) which includes bags and clutches.
The label has two lines - the Exclusive Collection ranges in price from $300-$700 and the ç a r n c e orange label with prices up to $200.
In a recent post I mentioned that I had not purchased an IT bag all year. It is not for a lack of trying. Most bags either don't appeal to me or they all look the same.
However, that cannot be said for ç a r n c e. The bags look so luxurious and are unique. I love the shape of the bags. They are the kind of bags that I would say to someone "you can look, but don't touch."
These are some of my favourites from the two lines:
**Prices are in U.S. Dollars
Shop online at ç a r n c e
If you happen to be in Dallas you can attend the Summer Trunk Show Sale and purchase a
ç a r n c e bag.

Congratulations!!!
It is already half way through the year and I have not purchased a beautiful handbag that I can drool over.
Anytime I tell someone that I have not made a major purchase they congratulate me. Why???
Is it possible that I already have the perfect handbag and don't already know it?
I seem to use the same handbags every week. I change bags almost every day. It is time consuming, but a necessity. Only once have I forgotten to put my eyeglasses in my bag. I had to wear my prescription sunglasses at work.
These are the bags that are in constant rotation:

The Colour of Beauty
There does not seem to be anything on television to watch anymore. Gone are the days when I would sit in front of the television and be entertained.
Tonight I found a very interesting video on the NFB (National Film Board of Canada) application on my iPod Touch. The documentary The Colour of Beauty follows the struggle of Renee Thompson a black model and the difficulties that she faces in the fashion industry. It is not an isolated incident, but a common occurrence for black models.

One of my favourite accessories besides handbags are watches. It takes me a long time to find something that I love. I am fascinated by the look of the PlastiChic watches.
