Grey Is My New Black

These are the cutest ballerina flats. Today I purchased these Arturo Chiang Victoria Ballet Flats at The Bay. 

I wanted them in black, but they were sold out. The salesperson brought out a pair of black shoes which were the same ones that I purchased back in December. I have only worn those once. I am afraid to get them dirty.

He went back to the stockroom and found this pair in Dark Iron. At first I was not sure if I would even try them on. I took caution to the wind and tried them on. I could not believe how good they looked. 

I am not a shoe person.  It is actually the one item that I HATE shopping for. It is very sad when my mother laughs at the shoes that I wear everyday to work. It is quite shameful that I walk the streets of Toronto with great bags, but terrible looking shoes.  That will have to change. Hopefully, my feet don't hurt.

Downtown Edge: ROMYGOLD FW 2011 Collection

The first that comes to mind when I view the Fall Winter 2011 collection of ROMYGOLD is "tough but sexy" at the same time. From the studs details, zippers and metal plate detailing the bags are motorcycle chic.

ROMYGOLD launched in 2009 by close friends Lisa Goldstein and Romy Jagid. The line is popular with celebrities such as Fergie, Kim Kardashioan and Nikki Reid. The prices range from $275 to $700.

Sold Out - I hate that phrase

I waited all weekend for the Rebecca Minkoff sale on the website HauteLook. The sale started at 8:00am Pacific Time. It is just after 8:00pm Eastern Time and EVERY bag is sold out. I could just scream. I should have gone on the website sooner. Why????????????

The sale price of the bags ranged from $112.50 to $282.50.

This is my first nail polish purchase for the season.  It was on clearance at the grocery store. I cannot remember the price. I don't like pastel colours. This colour is awesome!!! It is similar to O.P.I. Russian Navy.

Spring Cleaning

I decided that this would be the weekend that I would start my spring cleaning. 

The first task that I started with was getting rid of a small book shelf that I had that was stacked with old Martha Stewart magazines from 2002 to 2008. I have attempted many times to get rid of the magazines, but there were so many. It took many hours, but it is finally done. I pulled out any crafts or recipes that I would like to try.

Sometimes I hold onto magazines even if I have already read them. There may have been some that I never did get a chance to read. Last month I finally finished reading last years September issue of Vogue.

The next task will be my makeup:

(1) I have a bowl filled with lip balms

(2) Nail polish - get rid of anything that is separated

(3) Mascara - throw out anything that may have an odd smell or has clumps

I should tackle my closet (top and bottom) where some of my handbags are kept, but that is too much work.

Maybe next weekend I will go through my clothes to see what I need for the summer. I specifically need items that are not BLACK.

Any items that I do not want that are in good condition will either go to my family and friends or co-workers.

I know that everyone is waiting for me to get of some handbags.
