Last night I met up with a friend of mine for drinks. When she sat down the first thing that I noticed was her gorgeous grey Matt & Nat bag. I commented that I loved the colour and that I never owned a grey bag. I decided that would be my next purchase.

This morning I realized that I did purchase a grey bag last year, but I no longer had the bag. I did not have a problem with the colour. I just did not like the bag anymore. It was one of those foolish impulse buys.

Maybe grey can become my new black.

Matt & Nat Portman Bag

I have finally found a new bag for the summer. I was looking for a bag in a bright colour, but it is not black. I purchased the Matt & Nat Portman bag today at Winners. The regular price was $79.99, but it was on sale for $59.00. Winners sells brand name items at reduced prices. The tag lists the original price at $140.

It is my first Matt & Nat bag. Matt & Nat makes eco-friendly, vegan handbags and accessories. I usually purchase leather bags, but this bag was the perfect shape. The shape of bag that I prefer are satchel bags. The bag has pockets on the inside and outside, with strong sturdy handles which are also very important. I can't wait to use the bag.

This might be the start of a new fashion relationship.

Matt and Nat Diagonal Zip Bag

I saw this Matt and Nat bag today in fuschia at Winners. I thought that it was a cute bag that would be ideal for travelling. The Grandmaster features 2 exterior zip pockets and 2 handle straps. Interior includes zip pocket, cell phone and PDA pockets, and detachable key chain. Comes with detachable, adjustable shoulder strap. If the bag were a little bigger I would definitely have bought it. Dimensions: 13" L X 16" H X 3" W

The bag was priced at $89.99 (Canadian). On the website the bag is on sale for $120 marked down 40% from $200 Canadian.
