What Time Is It?

I spend a lot of time looking for the right watch. I do not wear a lot of accessories, so my watch has to stand out. Last year I could not decide between a Michael Kors watch or a Marc Jacobs watch.

I decided to purchase this Diesel watch. I love watches that have a large face. This watch is 2.25 inches wide. I am not a fan of red, but it was the only colour that they had. I purchased the watch at The Bay on Queen Street in Toronto. I get a lot of comments about the size of the watch.

A couple of weeks ago I received an email from the site CentrSource. They had a deal for a Micheal Kors watch. The sale price was $98.00 (regular price $280.00). Immediately I went to the site and made the purchase.  Afterwards I thought that the deal was too good to be true. Everyday I could not wait to get home from work to find a package waiting for me. No package. I started to panic. Finally the watch arrived and I could not wait to look at the watch. It is a beautiful watch. What a deal!!!!

Topshop At The Bay

A couple of years ago when I was in London I went into a Topshop store on Oxford Street. The store was really busy and I didn't have much time to look around.

Whenever I travel I am always doing the conversion from euro or pound to Canadian. The first Topshop store opened at The Bay in Yorkdale in Toronto this week. I will have to find some time to visit the mall. However, some items are available online at The Bay.

In Love with NARS

I did not plan on buying any makeup today, but I found myself at the  NARS counter at The Bay located at Yonge and Queen in Toronto.

It can be difficult to find cosmetics lines that carry products for black skin. I always have problems either finding a foundation, powder or concealer to match my skin tone. I am quite happy with the products that I purchased today. I had to be convinced about trying the lip gloss. It is sheer so it is not too dramatic.

Grey Is My New Black

These are the cutest ballerina flats. Today I purchased these Arturo Chiang Victoria Ballet Flats at The Bay. 

I wanted them in black, but they were sold out. The salesperson brought out a pair of black shoes which were the same ones that I purchased back in December. I have only worn those once. I am afraid to get them dirty.

He went back to the stockroom and found this pair in Dark Iron. At first I was not sure if I would even try them on. I took caution to the wind and tried them on. I could not believe how good they looked. 

I am not a shoe person.  It is actually the one item that I HATE shopping for. It is very sad when my mother laughs at the shoes that I wear everyday to work. It is quite shameful that I walk the streets of Toronto with great bags, but terrible looking shoes.  That will have to change. Hopefully, my feet don't hurt.

Diesel Welcome Bag

For Christmas I received a gift card for the Hudson's Bay Comany (HBC) group of stores  (The Bay, Zellers and Home Outfitters). I decided to go to The Bay. Maybe I would be able to find a new bag.

As luck would have it, I found this Diesel bag. It would come in very handy for this time of year with all of the snow and slush. The bag that I purchased is black.  I dropped my digital camera when I was taking pictures of the bag.

The bag is made of Polyurethane and suede. It has many pockets on the outside which I love.

P.S.  Not happy that I broke my digital camera. Maybe I was not meant to have a new bag.

Summer Must Have: PlastiChic

One of my favourite accessories besides handbags are watches. It takes me a long time to find something that I love.  I am fascinated by the look of the PlastiChic watches.

April Fool's Day

Today is April 1st and I can't believe that I have not purchased a bag all year. I want a NEW bag...I don't NEED a new bag.

I have not been able to find a bag that I really love. I went to The Bay today not looking for anything specific. Of course I headed straight to the handbag section. I did not know that London Fog sold handbags. I saw two cute bags.

One Week

It has been a long week. I am finally able to get out of my bed. At least I was able to access my email on my iPod Touch. The boredom drove me crazy. When not sleeping I would be on my MacBook.

The first thing that I want to do before I go back to the office is go to Starbucks. For some strange reason, I was craving Starbucks and Kettle Chips. Thankfully, my sister was kind enough to buy me some Kettle Chips on Friday. The bag is done. Now all I need is a grande latte from Starbukcks with whip cream.

I ventured out of the house today to gets some fresh air. I did not want the blast of Arctic Canadian air to hit me first thing Monday morning. It would be a shock to the system. I went to the local mall which does not have much, but it was better than nothing. It was odd not spending any money for one week. My bank must have thought that something was wrong. I just bought two pillows and I got a great deal for a duvet cover at the Bay which was originally priced at $99.99. It was marked down to $49.99. When the salesperson rang up my order it was $29.99. That was all I could handle for the day. I hope I don't go crazy spending next week.
