I saw my first film of the festival today and it started with a bang...kick...punch. Lots of action. I saw the movie Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen (Jingwu Fengyun - Chen Zhen). I like to see at least one action movie in the festival.
After the film I had got some lunch at Freshii. I am trying to eat healthy and avoid the foods that I am allergic to.
I only had one film scheduled for the day, so about three hours until my pilates class later in the day. I decided to wander down to Queen Street West, a trendy part of Toronto with lots of stores, boutiques and cafes. There was one store in particular that I wanted to check out.
The boutique Jacob & Sebastian carries bath products from around the world. I couldn't resist. I walked around the store once to sample the products. I didn't want to spend too much money as it is only the beginning of the festival and I have so much more shopping to do.
These are the items that I purchased:
The Republic of Tea Be Well Red Teas - Get Clean Herb Tea for Detoxing No.7 ($12.95)
Villainess Soaps Whipped Body Creme - Jai Mahal Whipped ($14.99)
Villainess Soaps - Decadence ($5.50)
The Balm to the Rescue - vegan lip treatment ($19.99)
*Prices are in Canadian Funds
After leaving Jacob & Sebastian I started walking west and noticed the sign for the beauty bar the 10spot. I didn't have an appointment, but I wanted to see if I could get a manicure. I felt like pampering myself. Luckily I did not have to wait long.
I was hoping that I would have time to go to the pastry store Dufflet. They have amazing chocolate tarts. I was going to cheat a little bit. Unfortunately, I did not have time after my manicure. I had to catch a streetcar without smudging my nails so I could get to my pilates class.

My all time favourite soap is the shea butter soap from L'Occitane en Provence. I also make a special trip to the One of A Kind Show in Toronto to purchase the natural handmade soap from Skinlicious. I could order the soap online, but I love smelling each soap before I make a purchase. The next show is from March 31 to April 4, 2010.

Mor de luxe Spa Orange Blossom Body Bar

Winners is of my favourite store to shop. I am like a kid in a candy store. I love the body products section in the store.
On my last visit to the store I bought some soap. I had never heard of the brand Mor. I bought Mor de luxe spa Orange Blossom Body Bar. It smells amazing and it lathers like no other soap I have ever used. It is enriched with shea butter and vitamin E. I have to find out where I can find more products in Toronto. For now I will be going to different Winners stores to see if I can find more soap.
Mor Cosmetics is an Australian company. The collections include luxurious soaps, lotions and pampering products.

Love Your Body Sale
I went to The Body Shop yesterday to purchase some soap. I did not know that they were having a sale.
Love Your Body Sale - Buy 2 bath and body products and get 1 free
Also, if you spent $24.50 or more, you could purchase a gift bag for $5.00. The gift bag included:
- Divide & Multiply Mascara
- Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream
- Total Energy Exhilarating Body Wash
- Hi-Shine Lip Treatment
An extra bonus was a coupon for $10 off your next purchase of $40 or more.
I love the idea that the bag can be used again as a clutch.
