Years ago you would see women and girls carrying Louis Vuitton handbags. Many of them were fake. I was one of them. Now the bag of choice are Coach handbags.
What is bothering me is that many of these bags are knockoffs. The quality of the bags look so poor that even if they were not knockoff Coach bags, I would not purchase the bags because they look cheap.
I owned a knockoff Louis Vuitton pochette. It was a great evening bag, however it fall apart after a while.
You do not have to spend a lot of money to have a nice bag. I own many bags at various price points, but the quality of the more expensive bags is undeniable. They are also the bags that I expect to last for many, many years.
