Boxing Day Sales

I was looking forward to doing some online Boxing Day sales, but I have not had much success.

On Christmas Eve, I was on my computer at 8:00pm for the sales on Best Buy and Future Shop.  On the Best Buy site I was trying to order the Epson Workforce Wireless All-in-One Inkjet printer 520. It was on sale for $29.99 from $129.99. That is a $100 saving. They were having problems with the website. After two hours I gave up. I thought that I would try to access the page again, but when I did the printer was sold out. I was so angry. I wanted to get the printer because my printer makes a lot of noise. I do not want to buy anymore ink. The ink cost more than the printer.

At the same time I was trying to make a purchase on the Future Shop website. They had the Wii Fit Plus with Icon Balance Board (Black) for $49.99. The regular price is $84.98. It took about an hour, but the purchase went through. Hopefully it arrives soon. I have to work off all of the food I have been eating over the last couple of days.

Yesterday I almost purchased Ugg Boots from Beyond the Rack. They were on sale for $159.00. I tried for a while, but they were reserved by others and I had to check back in 20 minutes. I was short on patience. Maybe I will just get Emu's. I have received a lot of comments regarding the post I did last year about Uggs vs. Emu. I would like to try on both pair of boots to see which feels better. Many comments have stated that the arch support is better in Emu boots. That is something that I will really need.

I have spent the last two days trying to find a printer online for a good price. I think I will give up now.

I came across on Twitter a great sale for A2Zane. I was so excited. Maybe I could get he Hoi Bo bag that I have been lusting after for months. To my dismay it was no longer available.  Next thought...what other bags could I get. I checked the designer index and they carry Rebecca Minkoff. Sweet. I love this bag.

Boxing Day Shopping

I spent all day in bed on Boxing Day. I woke up and had breakfast and felt that I was coming down with a cold or flu. I decided to go back to bed. I did not plan to spend the whole day in bed. Before you knew it the sun had set.

I was not planning on going Boxing Day shopping. I think the last time I went Boxing Day shopping was back in 2005. The sales are not any better the day after Christmas than they are prior to Christmas. For the last couple of years I have found great deals online. This year on Christmas Eve I finally purchased the KitchenAid mixer that I have wanted for a VERY long time.

Future Shop's Boxing Day sale started online on December 24th at 8:00pm. I have wanted one for many years, but was holding out for a great deal.

KitchenAid Custom Edition 4.26L Stand Mixer (White) on sale for $179.99. It took about 45 minutes to checkout. The item was sold out after I made my purchase. I was not the only one that thought that it was a great deal. I can't wait for it to arrive.  I can start baking again.
