Desert Rose Necklace - Jewelmint

This past week I wore this necklace from Jewelmint to work. I knew that I loved the necklace when I saw it on the website, but I did not know the reaction that I would get. I received many comments and a lot of stares. A also received a remark referring to Fifty Shades of Grey, which I have not read (okay I read a preview I downloaded to my Kobo. It was only two chapters).


 

Summer Sales...Already???

I went shopping today and was surprised that summer clothes were already on sale. I guess I missed the start of the shopping season. I had trouble finding clothes in my size.
The first store that I went to today was Addition Elle. I have been carrying around in my wallet for a very long time a $25 gift certificate. It was going to expire in August. I decided that this would be the day to use it.

Unfortunaely, I did not like the way that most of the items fit. I did find this cool jacket that was on sale. It is not practical for this time of year, but the price was too good to pass up.

On my way to H2O+ to purchase some facial products, I noticed that there was a sale going on at Bath & Body Works. Actually it was an amazing sale. I purchased two body lotions and a shower gel. They were $3.00 each. From Left to Right - Exotic Coconut Body Lotion (236 ml), Country Apple Body Lotion (236 ml), and Exotic Coconut Shower Gel 295 ml).

I purchased this tote bag to carry all of my purchases. It is similar to a bag that I already own, but of course I could not pass up a deal.

I ended my day at my local grocery store to pick up a few items. Of course I had to check out the Joe Fresh section. I was no longer in the mood to try on anymore clothes. I saw this bag that I had seen in a magazine.  I know that I do not need another bag, but I wanted to do my part to support breast cancer awareness.

By Invitation Only

Earlier this week I received a phone call from someone from the Coach store on Bloor Street. He was calling to let me know that I was invited to the Preferred Customer Fall event. He asked if I had received my invitation.  I said that I had not received the card in the mail. Apparently the invitations were sent by email this time. He said not to worry that my information was in the computer.

The invitation arrived the next day. The invitation clearly states that it "is an exclusive offer just for you and cannot be shared." Possibly they don't want people sharing the invitations.


Yet again I don't know what to buy. I am not interested in any of the bags or wallets. I would consider getting some jewellery. There is a necklace and ring that I like.

Jewellery Box

Storage is a problem in my bedroom. A closet just for my bags would be nice. I am a person who likes to have things organized. I have bead necklaces that were in a plastic container for a long time. Not very attractive. I found this box at Winners for $9.99. Great price and pretty to look at. Now I have somewhere to put my necklaces. If only I placed them neatly in the box so they would not get tangled.
